Emily Hansell is a contemporary artist based in Brisbane, Australia working primarily with graphite and photography. Her work often explores concepts of memory, ephemerality and deterioration, through observing the places within her reach.
She was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) with a Distinction at the Queensland University of Technology in 2017.
